Our Story
Literature & Latte was founded in 2006 with a simple but powerful idea:
writing tools should work the way writers think.
Our founder, Keith Blount, originally set out to write a novel and a thesis — but couldn’t find software that matched his workflow. So he built one himself. That tool became Scrivener, now used by writers all over the world.
What began as a personal solution quickly evolved into a global platform trusted by authors, academics, journalists, and creatives everywhere.
